Amenities include: heating, hot water, electricity, WiFi, large southwest-facing windows, north-facing Velux, blackout blinds, bedding, towels, microwave, kettle, toaster, small electric hob, and basic kitchen equipment.
The charming town of Nailsworth is just a short woodland walk or drive from The Hide. It houses several bars, cafes, and shops. The local pub The Old Lodge is up on the common and is great for those seeking local ales and hearty pub fare. The lively town of Stroud is also a 10-minute drive to the North with its famous farmers’ market. Should you wish to venture a bit further, Bath, Bristol Cheltenham and Gloucester are all within driving distance.
Being set in the Cotswolds you will not want for artistic ideas either. This protected region is known for its undulating countryside, stone-built villages and variety of stately homes and manor houses – sure to get the creative juices flowing.
