What we collect, and what we do not.

Without an account

Everything you add stays on your device: saved calls, your application stages, checklists and notes, your answers about your practice, the calls you skip, and in the app a copy of the listings for offline reading. None of it is sent to us. In the app, “Erase everything on this phone” deletes it, and so does uninstalling. On the website it lives in your browser's storage for this site.

The app loads listings from artistopportunities.com. As with any website, our hosting provider receives the network address of each request in order to answer it. We do not link those requests to a person. The app has no advertising, no analytics and no crash reporting.

With an account

An account is optional. You create one by signing in with Google, in the app or on the website. It keeps:

• your Google email address, your name as Google provides it, and an account identifier;
• your saved calls with their stage, outcome, checklist, notes and reminder settings;
• your answers about your practice, your reminder settings and time zone, and the calls you skip in the app;
• if you turn on reminder emails, a record of which reminders were sent and when.

We use these only to show you the same list on each device and to send the reminders you asked for. We never see your Google password, and we do not use your account for advertising or share it with anyone. It is stored with our database provider, Supabase, and reminder emails are delivered by Resend.

In your account settings, in the app or at artistopportunities.com/account, you can download everything the account holds as a file, or delete the account. Deleting it removes all of the above from our servers straight away. Signing out removes the account's data from that device; it stays in your account.

Deadline reminders are scheduled by your phone's own notification system. The app never requests a push token, so we cannot send you notifications and do not know you have any. “Add to calendar” opens your phone's calendar editor. The app has no access to read your calendar.

When you open an official call, the organiser's website opens in your browser. Their own privacy policy applies there.

The website

Reading the website needs no account. We collect personal information only when you give it to us:

• If you subscribe to updates, we store your email address and the date you confirmed. Every email carries an unsubscribe link.
• If you turn on browser notifications, we store the push address your browser issues. Turning notifications off removes it.
• If you submit an opportunity as an organiser, we store the contact name, email and details you enter so an editor can review them.
• If you create an account, what it keeps is described above.
• Editors sign in to manage the directory.

To understand how the website is used, it loads:

• Google Analytics, which measures visits and may set cookies.
• Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used.

Clarity's recordings mask your saved calls, notes and account settings, so they never reach it.

We do not sell personal information, and placement in the directory cannot be bought.

Questions and removal

Delete an account from its settings. To have an email address or a submission removed, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us through the organisers page.
