Wonderwood is an evolving forest-based creative sanctuary and immersive cultural project in rural Hsinchu, Taiwan. We are currently seeking artists, designers, storytellers, builders, organizers, and collaborators who want to help shape a living world, part artist residency, part experimental cultural space, part immersive narrative environment. This is not a traditional residency focused only on isolated studio practice.

We are especially interested in people excited by: co-creation interdisciplinary collaboration immersive experiences myth/story/worldbuilding community-centered living regenerative/ecological culture participatory art and play Current Priority Areas Story & Narrative Writers, poets, lore-builders, ARG designers, narrative designers, folklorists, journal-makers, and mythic thinkers. Immersive Games & Experiences Game designers, LARP creators, puzzle designers, interactive theater artists, ritual/game facilitators, and experience architects.

Installation & Environmental Art Installation artists, sculptors, environmental artists, set designers, light/sound artists, and makers interested in transforming space. Stewardship & Community Operations Organizers, producers, retreat coordinators, hospitality-minded creatives, and systems-oriented collaborators who enjoy helping spaces function smoothly. Ecological & Regenerative Practice Permaculture practitioners, herbalists, ecological educators, land artists, and people interested in regenerative living systems.

People often contribute not only through their art, but also through cooking, organizing, hosting, gardening, building, storytelling, and helping shape the atmosphere of the space itself.
