Nectar’s Nesting Residency is a flexible, year-round program designed for artists, writers, curators, researchers, designers, architects and cultural practitioners seeking uninterrupted time and space to develop their work. Nestled in a rural property surrounded by Mediterranean landscapes, the residency offers a peaceful environment where creative practice can unfold at its own pace. Whether you are starting a new project, completing ongoing research, writing, experimenting, or simply looking for time to reflect, Nectar provides the ideal setting to disconnect from everyday routines and reconnect with your practice.
Unlike many residency programs, the Nesting Residency allows participants to choose the dates that best fit their schedule, making it an ideal option for independent professionals looking for flexibility throughout the year. Location: Tarragona, Spain

Residency Fee_ €250 per person / week The residency fee includes: -Private accommodation -Private bathroom -Exclusive access to a spacious outdoor kitchen -Indoor and outdoor studios and workspaces -Access to Nectar’s tools, materials and equipment (subject to availability) -High-speed Wi-Fi -Shared gardens and communal spaces -Basic technical support throughout your stay -1 hour of curatorial and technical support Additional guest fees: -Extra adult: €125 per week -Child (5 years and older): €70 per week Children under 5 years old can be accommodated upon request.
Maximum two adults and one kid Food options: Residents may choose the option that best suits their needs. 1) Self-Catered (included) Residents purchase and prepare their own meals using the fully equipped private kitchen. 2) Grocery Service (+€20/day) = 140€ x week Prefer to focus entirely on your work? Nectar can take care of the grocery shopping before your arrival, providing a fully stocked kitchen with fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, locally sourced products and everyday essentials (bread, pasta, rice, legumes, milk, eggs, coffee, tea, olive oil, spices, etc.).
Residents prepare their own meals at their own pace. Nectar is more than a place to stay. It is a space intentionally designed for focused creative practice, meaningful conversations and slower rhythms of living. We believe that research, rest, experimentation and reflection are valuable forms of artistic practice. Residents are not expected to produce a final exhibition or public outcome.
