FotoComBA 2027 International Program in Expanded Photography (Asynchronous Format) What is FotoComBA? FotoComBA 2027 is a year-long international professional training program in expanded photography, understood as photography in dialogue with multiple artistic languages. It is designed for visual artists from around the world who wish to integrate photography into their practice in a conceptual, authorial, and exhibition-oriented way.

This is a virtual, asynchronous, bilingual experience (Spanish / English) that culminates in a collective in-person exhibition at FotoCreativaBA Gallery, located at Galería Patio del Liceo, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Applicants must choose either Spanish or English as their working language when applying. Format and Structure Duration: January to December 2027 (12 months) Modality: Virtual / asynchronous Languages available: Spanish or English (choose one when applying) What’s included?

11 creative prompts and materials (one per month, except December), to explore and experiment through multiple conceptual and formal approaches. 7 personalized curatorial feedback instances, shared within the group. All feedback is delivered in written form in the selected language. Shared Google Drive folder with group access to all submissions, promoting dialogue, mutual insight, and peer learning.
