In the organiser's words
Quoted from foundationforcontemporaryarts.org and checked on 24 August 2026. This is the organiser's description, reproduced as captured. It has not been through the evidence checks that produced the figures above.
FCA Emergency Grants provide immediate project-based assistance to visual and performing artists and poets living anywhere in the United States. The programme is year-round and rolling, with roughly 100 applications received and 15 to 20 grants made each month. Apply 8 to 10 weeks before your project's public presentation date and no earlier than 10 weeks. Note this funds projects, not living costs — food, rent, medical bills and childcare are explicitly excluded.
