The ACRE (Academic and Creative Research) Residency Programme invites artists, researchers, writers, and creative practitioners to live and work at Braziers Park while developing independent projects. ACRE residents join the community as lodgers, typically for periods ranging from one month to one year. During this time, residents pursue their own research or creative practice while engaging with the social, ecological, and cultural environment of Braziers Park.
Braziers Park is both a home and an educational charity dedicated to exploring the possibilities and challenges of living in community. As such, the residency programme is not only a space for individual work, but also an opportunity to participate in and reflect on collective life. ACRE residents contribute to Braziers’ research culture and community life, while benefiting from a supportive environment for developing ideas, creative work, and collaborative inquiry.
For this open call, we are welcoming up to 12 ACRE residents between 1 December 2026 and 28 February 2027. Residencies may be proposed for any period within these dates, with the possibility of extension on request, depending on room availability and community capacity.
